REVERSALS: Directional Training 1
Help children practice the 'Direction Matters' Rule
Explain that you want the child to point, using words such as these:
Continue in a similar way for the next two examples.
Did the child eventually see 'forward' v.s. 'backward?' (I thought so.)
Now try Directional Training 2, under the 'Reversals' section at The Reading Treehouse.
